Currys Black Friday sale 2023: The best deals to shop now

Bargain hunters, the time has come: the Currys Black Friday sale is here – and there’s a whole host of deals on air fryers, laptops, TVs and more, with Currys consistently delivering some of the best deals on tech, home appliances and gaming.

It’s not the only retailer hosting a huge Black Friday sale, though, with the likes of John Lewis & Partners, Amazon, Very, Argos, Boots and many others taking part, too. The timing of the shopping bonanza comes at a great time if you’re looking for a discounted Christmas gift or indeed want to save on popular products (we’re looking at you, air fryers).

When it comes to Currys, the retailer’s Black Friday sale has some really impressive deals you can snap up – the Dyson corrale hair straighteners, for example, have been reduced by £100. This Ninja appliance landed a spot in our review of the best, with our tester praising its “generous 3.8l basket” that can fit a “medium-sized chicken”. Although Black Friday falls in November each year, the exact date tends to shift. It always starts the day after the US holiday Thanksgiving, which means, this year, Black Friday kicked off on Friday 24 November and will end on Monday 27 November (aka Cyber Monday).

When it comes to Currys deals, we always look out for three big categories: TVs, tech and home appliances.

Last year, we saw the retailer discount Sony’s brilliant 55in Bravia XR55A80JU OLED TV by a whopping £400. Currys also knocked off £150 from the price of Philips’ flashy Ambilight TV (£579, Currys.co.uk), which has LED backlights to extend the picture beyond the TV.

In terms of home appliances, Currys discounted the Tefal actifry genius XL air fryer (£129, Currys.co.uk) by a sizeable £100. It also discounted Shark’s anti-hair-wrap cordless vacuum cleaner (£169, Currys.co.uk) by almost half, while Bosch’s Tassimo coffee machine (£34, Currys.co.uk) fell to just £29.

When it came to technology, our previous favourite pair of Sony wireless earbuds were discounted by a healthy £50, while Samsung’s Galaxy A13 budget smartphone was discounted by almost £100.
